South Florida wide receiver Tyre McCants deserves most of the credit for running back D’Ernest Johnson’s 50-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

McCants made two key blocks on Johnson’s run, and the second was better than the first. Take a look.

The touchdown put USF up 28-16 before the end of the first half. It was the fourth-straight touchdown for the Bulls after going down 16-0 to the San Jose State Spartans early in the first quarter. The Bulls won 42-22.

USF got back into the game via turnovers and some good special teams play. Check out this punt placement from punter Jonathan Hernandez:

His celebration was pretty good too.
