Addressing Rumors of Plastic Surgery

Even though Moore has always had a natural beauty about her, it hasn't stopped people from spreading rumors of an alleged nose job. Sitting down with PopSugar, she addressed those rumors head-on.

"I remember seeing some blog post that said I got a nose job,” Moore shared with PopSugar. “I was like, ‘That’s weird — my nose is pretty imperfect.’ I have a crinkled part underneath the bridge of my nose and I remember laughing like, ‘I feel like I would have fixed that had I had a nose job’ I don’t know, maybe it was just a weird picture or weird makeup or shading or something.

In Moore's opinion, she thinks that it's the status quo for everyone to go under the knife and receive some sort of augmentation, but is fine with people believing what they want to.

"People think everyone in Hollywood has had a nose job or some work done, but it’s not always true. People are going to believe what they want, and that’s fine," she said.

Moore's Thoughts on Aging

Moore continued on the subject of plastic surgery and what aging has meant for her. The Candy singer actually appreciates what aging has done for her looks, but doesn't have a problem with people receiving plastic surgery if it makes them feel better and more confident.

"If having work done is going to make somebody feel better about themselves, then more power to them," she shared with PopSugar.

On the topic of aging, Moore shared that she loved the wrinkles and lines that aging produced for her. "I’ve loved getting older. I wouldn’t go back to my 20s if you paid me,” she said.

“I love being at this stage of my life and the wisdom and clarity that comes with it. It’s fun to look at pictures of myself and see the little lines around my eyes and see my smile lines — I feel like I’ve lived a full and happy life and that’s just another indication of it."

A Trip to Ecuador Cut Short

It's apparent that Moore is comfortable in her own skin, despite aging. She and her husband recently took an unbelievable trip down to Ecuador to get away and take in the beautiful landscape of the country. Their vacation would not last long, though. The two became violently ill from food poisoning and required trips to a healthcare facility to receive IVs and other treatments.

The two were immediately sent home, but Moore wasn't upset about it and chose to look at the experience as a lesson. Sharing on an Instagram post, she said, "Sometimes things don’t go according to plan. For someone slightly type A (like myself), it’s challenging not to drive myself absolutely crazy when things veer in a different direction,” she captioned the photo. “I love an end of year lesson (one that I’ve encountered a million times before and will again, btw). Wasn’t meant to be."

Mandy Moore Living Her Best Life

At the end of the day, Moore seems to be content with what life has handed her as she's aged to perfection with the right mind set as her days continue to go on. Her long-term future definitely looks bright, especially alongside her husband, Goldsmith.

As for the new year, Moore is gearing up for the release of the next season of NBC's This Is Us, which is set to appear on January 14th at 9 p.m. Oh yeah, did we mention she's about to go on tour under the name Mandy Moore: North American Tour? It should be a great 2020 for the star!
