'This Is Us' Star Justin Hartley Files for Divorce from Wife Chrishell Stause

Justin Hartley just pulled a bigger twist than the plotline of "This Is Us" by filing for divorce from his wife of two years. According to court records obtained by The Blast, Hartley filed Friday in a Los Angeles courthouse to end his marriage with Terrina Chrishell Hartley. A second marriage for both, Justin and Chrishell tied the knot Oct. 28 during an intimate ceremony at Malibu’s Calamigos Ranch.

According to the documents, obtained by The Blast, Hartley lists the date of separation as July 8, 2019. He listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and also checked off the box denying Chrishell spousal support.

Stause is an actress known for appearing on Netflix's "Selling Sunset" as well as a recurring role of Jordan Ridgeway on "Days Of Our Lives." She was also previously engaged to actor Matthew Morrison. Justin and Chrishell have no children together, but he has one daughter from a previous marriage.

The two met after one of Chrishell's "Days of Our Lives" co-stars introduced them. During an interview with PEOPLE, they revealed, "We met up at a concert and talked all night." The "This Is Us" star said, "I drove her home and called the next day. We haven’t been apart since. I knew right away [and] was like, ‘Oh boy, here we go.'"

This is a developing story...

They Seemed So Happy

After their wedding, Chrishell said gushed about her new husband.

"They don’t make them any better than Justin, and I could not be more thrilled to officially be Mrs. Hartley!"

Justin agreed and told People, "At the risk of sounding cheesy, I look forward to sharing life experiences and growing old together. Someday, we can talk about all the things we did together 30 years ago!" The TV star obviously didn't think "divorce" was going to be one of the things they end up doing as a couple.

Married Life

Justina nd Chrishell had dished on their life as a married couple, and it seemed like they were completely in sync. Along with attending many Hollywood events, and Chrishell supporting Justin with all the "This Is Us" press, they told US Weekly what their favorite activity is.

"We really are all about staying in recently, cooking together, watching movies and that sort of thing."

Justin also revealed one of the sweet things he did for his wife every morning.

"I’m an early riser, so when I hear her coming down the stairs in the morning, I turn on the coffee maker for her and get espresso going. She really loves that I do that."

Balancing Being a Parent

Even though he's clearly got a lot going on, Justin has maintained that his number one job is always caring for his 13-year-old daughter, Isabella, from his previous marriage to Lindsay Hartley.

The "This Is Us" star told US Weekly:

"Parenting is like golf. It’s like a series of errors. You try to make them as small as you possibly can. There’s no perfect sort of way to do it. My daughter’s great though. She helps me through everything. She really does. We do it together."
