Urusei Yatsura episode 15 recap

The episode continues where the previous one left off with Mendo and Asuka on their data. Meanwhile, Lum disguises herself as one of Mendo’s security guards and sneaks in to prevent Ataru from ruining the date. After Asuka accidentally knocks Mendo out cold, Ataru is forced to hide in his kimono and take control of his body.

The two work around the estate, while Tobimaro and Ryouko watch from a distance. Lum catches Ataru and reveals his face, which terrifies Asuka as she knocks them away. Asuka notices the whole mansion is surrounded by men, making her panic and hitting all of them away. However, Lum is able to calm her down and keep her company as she creates her own armor. Asuka sees Ataru and panics as she separates from Lum.

However, her mother arrives and explains that the reason for her phobia is Ataru, who assaulted her earlier. She then decides to handcuff Ataru and Asuka together and set them on a date to try and resolve the problem. Asuka then fights with her mother and manages to rescue her brother, who was held hostage. She uses Ataru like a propeller and escapes, but is cut down by Lum. The episode ends with Tobimaro waking up to find Asuka on his bed again and his mother hitting him with the mallet.
