UPCOMING EVENTS: WC spring art show, WAA

May 1—Weatherford College spring art show

The Spring Student Art Exhibition hosted by Weatherford College is scheduled for Thursday, May 2, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Texas Hall of the Alkek Fine Arts Center. This is a free event and open to the public.

The exhibition will showcase an array of creative works, including drawings, paintings, digital illustrations, mixed-media pieces, graphic design and video projects that have been completed by students over the course of the past semester. Each work reflects the individual student's perspective and unique creative voice, and the exhibition aims to provide a diverse range of subjects and styles.

"I am continually amazed by the technical skill and conceptual creativity my art students demonstrate," said Rebecca James, WC professor of visual arts. "This exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to support these budding artists and witness their incredible growth during their studies at Weatherford College."

WAA to host demo by Glasgow
