UPCOMING EVENTS: Brock Hometown Christmas, Christmas Candy workshop

Nov. 25—Brock Hometown Christmas

The Brock Business Co-Op is gearing up for its fifth annual Brock Hometown Christmas.

Beginning at noon Dec. 3, families can enjoy live music, food, shopping, visits with Santa, a community tree lighting and more.

Live music will be performed by Chasing Angels, Dylan Lee, Kingston, Jeni Toudouz, Chad Hailey, LD Whitehead, the Brock High School band, choir and theatre.

The event, which is free to attend, will last until 6 p.m. inside the Silver Star Shopping Center, 1100 FM 1189 in Brock.

Christmas Candy workshop

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Parker County will host a Christmas Candy Making Workshop on Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Parker County Extension Office.

The cost for the workshop is $20 and will include refreshments and candy.

During the workshop participants will learn to make several different Christmas Candies and take some of each home.
