Upcoming C-Drama Will Love in Spring Trailer Teases Li Xian & Zhou Yutong’s Love Story
The upcoming romantic C-drama Will Love in Spring is all set to meet viewers in April 2024. It features Li Xian and Zhou Yutong in the lead roles. It is an adaptation of the web novel “Qing Ren” by She Mu Si.
The drama tells the story of Chen Mai Dong (Li Xian), a funeral make-up artist. On the other hand, Zhuang Jie (Zhou Yutong) is a career-oriented woman who lives in the city.
Although Chen Mai Dong was rebellious when he was young, he is now in his 30s and is lonely. Meanwhile, Zhuang Jie was left disabled after meeting with a car accident. Their worlds get entangled after Zhuang Jie moves to her hometown, Nanping.

The newly released trailer shows Mai Dong’s grandmother introducing him as an integral part of the town. Her love for her grandson knows no bounds, and she hypes him whenever possible. But only his friends know how sloppy he is at his work. Meanwhile, Zhuang Jie works at one of the top ten medical companies worldwide. But things take a wild turn for her after she is suddenly fired.
She lies to her mother, saying that she is on paid leave. Zhuang Jie’s mother and Mai Dong’s grandmother set them up on a blind date. Mai Dong feels that they are too different from one another and try to maintain a distance. But things change after Zhuang Jie kisses him. Will they find comfort in one another or go their separate ways?

Apart from the lead actors, Will Love in Spring also features Wu Jun Ting, Zhang Xi Wei, Sun Yan Xiang, Xiao Yang, etc., in pivotal roles. Liang Cheng is the director of the drama, and Even Jian is the screenwriter.
Will Love in Spring will release a total of 21 episodes which will be available for streaming on Tencent Video.
