UnREAL Adds Tracie Thoms as Quinn's Lesbian Friend for Season 3

Quinn is getting a friend — yes, Quinn has friends — in UnREAL‘s upcoming third season.

Cold Case veteran Tracie Thoms is joining the cast of Lifetime’s Bachelor-skewering drama series in a recurring role, our sister site Deadline is reporting. She’ll play Fiona, an entertainment executive whose friendship with Everlasting producer Quinn (Constance Zimmer) goes back decades. And she won’t be competing with Quinn for men, either: The description calls her “a fun-loving, gorgeous gay woman with swagger.”

UnREAL is looking to bounce back from a disappointing sophomore season by shaking up the format: Masters of Sex‘s Caitlin FitzGerald will join the cast as the first female suitor in Everlasting history, choosing from a bevy of eligible hunks. Season 3 doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but it’s expected to debut sometime this summer.

Thoms spent five seasons on the CBS procedural Cold Case as detective Kat Miller. She also had roles on Fox’s short-lived cult hit Wonderfalls and NBC’s Harry’s Law. Recently, she appeared in the first two seasons of the Netflix comedy Love.
