On Monday’s episode of Dr. Phil, Dr. Phil re-examines the case of Scott Peterson, who was convicted of murdering his pregnant wife, Laci. Scott and his family insist he is innocent, and the family has been fighting to get him a new trial. Peterson’s sister-in-law, Janey, claims she has evidence that proves Peterson did not murder Laci.

After the show, Dr. Phil speaks with the audience about how jurors come to a decision and decide a verdict.
