UNLV is getting creative with its concessions and football season ticket packages in 2018.

The school is offering an unlimited food add-on for all season tickets this season. And it’s a damn good deal. Season tickets are $99 each and for just $30 more, according to the Las Vegas Sun, fans can have unlimited food at each of the six home games.

What’s on the menu?

The unlimited food options include hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and soda. At $5 a game, that’s a pretty good deal, even if you’re just going with one of each item. If you’re wanting to gorge, there’s no telling how much money you could save with the unlimited deal.

“We spent so much time listening to a wide range of Rebel fans over the last year,” UNLV athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois said in a statement. “We learned a lot through the process and we are working to make even more enhancements to the experiences of our fans at our events. I appreciate our external team’s collaborative efforts on developing these initiatives. Our goal is to provide an engaging atmosphere at a great value and we believe this is a big step.”

Could other schools follow suit?

The team had approximately 9,000 season ticket accounts in 2017 and is also advertising a three-game package with unlimited food for $79. That package includes UNLV’s rivalry game with Nevada.

As college football attendance is in the middle of slow decline, this is a great way to get fans into the stadium. Killing a fall afternoon with a football game and food for $20 is a value you’re not going to be able to match many other places if you don’t want to watch a game from home. Heck, it may be cheaper than going to a bar.

If UNLV has success with this then you can bet the widespread unlimited food model will be replicated at other schools.
