UnitedMasters has announced SelectCon 005, the music distribution giant’s fifth iteration of their event that bridges the gaps between music, culture, and the industry.

Taking place on Oct. 14 at New York City’s Terminal 5 venue, SelectCon 005 is headlined by global superstar Davido, Latin sensation Tokischa, and Atlanta-based music collective LVRN. Hosted by Hot 97’s TT Torrez, Ivy Rivera of Combs Enterprises, and V-Live, SelectCon 005 will include a mix of speakers, performances, and panels, as well as a festive afterparty.

The event kicks off with the Bulleit 100-Hour Commitment Mentorship, which allows attendees to embark on their creative journeys with one-on-one mentorship opportunities and insights from industry experts.

Afterwards, speakers such as Steve Stoute, Rashad Bilal, and Troy Millings of Earn Your Leisure, veteran music journalist Elliott Wilson, and YouTube’s AJ Ramos and Dometi Pongo will speak on the various panels scheduled throughout the day. Amplifying Your Brand will feature Ramos and Tokischa speaking on the ingredients to their own brand success, while Wilson will moderate a conversation with Bilal and Millings on the “art of brand building” during the Building Your Brand panel.

Pongo and LVRN will discuss the keys to independence in the music industry on the How to Be Independent panel, while UnitedMasters and veteran executive Steve Stoute will speak with AfroBeats maven Davido about Music’s Global Future. SelectCon 005 will include performances from Spinall, DJ Pope, Nickoog, and Liana Banks. The event is sponsored by Ally, Baileys Chocolate Liqueur, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, Johnnie Walker of Diageo, Delta Air lines, and Visa.

The previous SelectCon included appearances from Issa Rae, Jim Jones, Coodie & Chike, and more.
