The Jacksonville location will join 10 others statewide, the Twin Peaks website shows.

The restaurant chain cites multiple factors on its website to bolster its claim as the "ultimate sports lodge."

Resembling a mountain lodge complete with a life-size elk statue near the entrance, Twin Peaks says it features the "coldest beer in the business" — a nicely chilled 29 degrees. Draft beer is served in a "perfectly-frosted" 22-ounce mug.

Twin Peaks boasts a variety of signature burgers, sandwiches and entrees as well as wings, flatbreads, salads and desserts, according to the menu.

  • The Billionaire's Burger: Sriracha pimento cheese, Billionaire’s Bacon, lettuce, tomato, beer mustard and mayo

  • The Smokestack: Pulled pork, cheddar, red onions, pickled jalapeños, tomato, pickles, cilantro · smoky sweet BBQ sauce and Chipotle mayo

  • Texas-Style Cheesesteak: Thinly sliced sirloin, queso, peppers, jalapeños and pico de gallo on a toasted hoagie roll

  • New York Strip Steak: 14-ounce, hand-cut USDA choice served with house-made garlic mashed potatoes, garlic parsley butter and sautéed broccoli

  • Char-grilled salmon: Filet with chipotle butter and lemon garlic pilaf

  • Mom's Pot Roast: Slow-cooked pot roast with brown gravy, served with house-made garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans

Desserts range from apple turnovers to Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cheesecake and the Twin Peaks sundae.

The restaurant chain also is known for its brand ambassadors — the Twin Peaks Girls. In addition, high-definition televisions hang on the walls throughout the restaurant promising good views of various sporting events.

The Jacksonville restaurant is part of Twin Peaks' ongoing expansion.

Founded in 2005 in Lewisville, a Dallas suburb, Twin Peaks has almost 100 restaurants in the United States and Mexico.

FAT Brands Inc. acquired Twin Peaks for $300 million in a deal completed on Oct. 1, 2021.

At that time FAT Brands owned 14 restaurant brands: Round Table Pizza, Fatburger, Marble Slab Creamery, Johnny Rockets, Great American Cookies, Hot Dog on a Stick, Buffalo’s Cafe & Express, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Pretzelmaker, Elevation Burger, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses, according to a news release announcing the acquisition.

The Twin Peaks Jacksonville location will have about 300 seats — inside and on the patio.

At Kernan Village, the restaurant will join Longhorn Steakhouse and Jollibee.
