Ukrainian State Theatre bringing Swan Lake to Dothan stage

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — An internationally acclaimed ballet troupe is bringing a love story for the ages to the Dothan Civic Center.

The State Ballet Theater of Ukraine will perform Swan Lake on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

The ballet, first composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1877, follows the love story of Princess Odette, who is cursed to turn into a swan during the day, and Prince Siegfried, who is torn between true love and duty to his family.

Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m. You can get them here or at the Dothan Civic Center on the second floor.
