Ukrainian MP’s are getting new luxury cars despite full-scale war in the country

In particular, the deputy head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Andrey Motovilovets, was found using the new Audi Q7, after the Russian invasion. The car was issued in May 2022. Prices for such cars start from $80,000. According to the Motovilovets, this is his brother's car, which he is allowed to use.

MP Artem Dmytruk, who was expelled from the Servant of the People and now is a member of the Restoration of Ukraine parliamentary group, has switched to using a new Audi A8.
Dmytruk's new car has the usual license plates assigned to a people's deputy.

Journalists previously learned that Dmytruk had posted photos and stories with different cars on Instagram, but had not declared ownership of such vehicles. Back then, Dmytruk explained that he had borrowed these cars from friends or that they were actually taxis.
Olha Vasylevska-Smaglyuk, who is a member of the Servant of the People party, was found to be riving a Jaguar I-Pace, a car produced since 2018. The price of the car in the secondary market starts at $50,000. The car is registered to the brother of the deputy and was purchased by him in 2021.
In a comments to the journalists, Vasylevska-Smaglyuk said that she had switched to using the Jaguar to save money, as it is an electric car.
Due to martial law, officials, including deputies, have the right not to submit declarations, and access to the register of already submitted declarations is closed as a security measure.
