Uber tries to win over London with new safety measures

Uber is trying to win back London after being stripped of its license to operate in the city last fall. The company is introducing new ways to protect customers. Some of the changes include starting a 24-hour telephone support for riders and drivers, providing license numbers to riders, and allowing drivers go "offline" for six hours after 10 hours of work.
