Putri Ariani went viral earlier this summer on “America’s Got Talent” when she earned Simon Cowell‘s Golden Buzzer in the Season 18 auditions. The blind singer and pianist is Simon’s pick to win the competition, and she demonstrated why during the Tuesday, September 5 live show at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium as part of the “Qualifiers 3” round. After she belted out “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” Simon revealed U2 “cleared” the song specifically for Putri, and Heidi Klum compared her to “an angel singing.” (Read our minute-by-minute recap.) What did YOU think of Putri’s latest performance?

Simon: “Putri, I’m actually kind of speechless right now. What I was thinking was, first of all, what a beautiful voice you’ve got, what a beautiful version. Honestly, Putri, this is why I still do this job, for moments like this, genuinely, because that was so beautiful. I do want to thank U2 … they cleared this song for Putri to sing because they saw her audition and they knew how much this would mean to her. I cannot thank you enough because I think you’ve just hopefully changed this girl’s life.”

Sofia Vergara: “I don’t think I’ve ever heard something more beautiful in my life. That was spectacular. Every note, the feeling, when you were making us feel, it was amazing. One of my favorite songs of all time. I think this was the perfect, perfect, perfect act.”

Heidi: “You sounded so beautiful and I thought to myself, this is probably what it sounds like when an angel is singing. Literally so beautiful. And I do hope that Bono gets to hear this and I wish you all the luck. You have a stunning, stunning, stunning voice.”

Howie Mandel: “Perfection!”

Competing against Putri Ariani during the “Qualifiers 3” round were these 10 contestants: comedian Barry Brewer Jr., aerialist/sword swallower Herwan Legaillard, tap dancer Justin Jackson, musicians MOS, chorale group Mzansi Youth Choir, dance group Phil Wright & Parent Jam, violinist Philip Bowen, singer Summer Rios, magician Trigg Watson and acrobatic group Warrior Squad.

Remember, only two of these 11 acts will make it through to the grand finale based on America’s overnight votes. Will Putri Ariani be one of them?

Back in her “AGT” audition, Putri performed two songs on the big stage: “Loneliness” and “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word.” The 17-year-old Indonesian singer met Simon at the piano in between the two renditions, as he felt an instant connection to her. The British judge later pushed his Golden Buzzer for Putri, saying she had “a kind of glow” about her, and he hoped all of the attention would help get her into Juilliard performing arts school.
