A U.S. Navy destroyer is targeted in a failed missile attack from territory in Yemen controlled by Iran-aligned Houthi rebels, the third such incident in the past week. Diane Hodges reports.
Ferret Guy: Ten years ago the Supreme Court ruled "Some have made the argument, bordering on the frivolous, that only those arms in existence in the 18th century are protected by the Second Amendment. We do not interpret constitutional rights that way... the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of the founding." And more recently they held that "firearms cannot be categorically prohibited just because they are dangerous. The relative dangerousness of a weapon is irrelevant when the weapon belongs to a class of arms commonly used for lawful purposes. The right to bear other weapons is “no answer” to a ban on the possession of protected arms.” By liberals definition of the 2nd Amendment any form of speech that takes place electronically, (TV, internet, radio, phone, etc) is not protected by the 1st Amendment. Word of mouth and newspapers and magazines would would be all that is protected. And maybe candle powered signal lights.
