Earlier this week, our fabulous editor at large and CBS Mornings cohost, Gayle King, graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. It gets better: Gayle also took us behind the scenes of her glamorous shoot in Mexico—and now we’ve got even more inside details from the shoot. Like with all things in life, sometimes it helps to have a mentor guide you through a new endeavor (and in this case, help you hit all those tricky poses). And if you’re lucky enough, that mentor is Tyra Banks.

In this exclusive video, Tyra helps Gayle figure out exactly how to pose for her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue debut. Some of Tyra’s advice for posing included “putting in the smallest part of your waist” and leaning forward to lengthen the legs. For the face, she suggests jutting out the chin “like a turtle,” relaxing the mouth, and squinting the eyes like “you’re a little bit mad at somebody.” Of course, the booty pop is the most important tip: Sticking your butt out may look weird from the side, but from the front, it’ll look great, Tyra explains.

The duo did several shots together and, unsurprisingly, looked iconic in each of them. Check out the exclusive behind-the-scenes video above—and enjoy some tips from America’s top model.
