Tyler Crispen became the 13th contestant eliminated from “The Challenge: USA” on Thursday night, following his loss to Chris Underwood in the arena. In the game “Barrel Tag,” each player started by standing on a barrel. They used a second barrel to place in front of themselves, allowing them to move forward. One person was “it” while the other tried to tag their opponent as fast as possible, using the barrels to move forward. Chris tagged Tyler in 1:20 and Tyler tagged Chris in 1:52.Watch our exclusive video interview with the eliminated contestant above.

Despite being sent home, Tyler says, “I was happy to not be part of another three-hour elimination,” referring to his previous arena battle with Monte Taylor. “I was a part of the longest one and the shortest one. As bummed as I was to be in it, I was happy it was over quick.”

Tyler, who was the runner-up of “Big Brother 20” and finished sixth on “Big Brother 22” explains why his alliance performed so poorly on “The Challenge.” “You would have one or two members dabbling in another direction and a little bit too deep,” he says. “That would just cause mistrust between the ‘Big Brother’ members. I think it took two or three weeks into the game for all of the ‘Big Brother’ players to actually come together and have a meeting and be like, ‘Wait, I feel like maybe Survivor is working together, they’re all voting together and they’re all still here.’ So yeah, we were garbage and we got picked off, rightfully so.”

The challenger also admits he’s still a fan of “Big Brother” and reveals who he’s rooting for on Season 25. “Every time I say my favorites they get eliminated,” he laughs. “I curse people! My favorites at the beginning were Reilly and Jag. Reilly got voted out quick. Then, I started watching more and my twin, Matt, is an absolute dog. If he doesn’t win the whole thing I’m upset. Matt is the best.”
