Tyler, the Creator and Boyz II Men set a town square on fire at the Grammy Awards.

The rapper took the stage with the classic group at the 2020 Grammy Awards Sunday night and performed “EARFQUAKE” and “New Magic Wand” off his 2019 album Igor. The performance featured Tyler dawning his signature Igor wig as 15-something doppelgangers joined him on stage built like a city block. Trever Noah introduced the performance.

Igor, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, was also nominated for Best Rap Album (EW crowned Igor one of the best albums of last year.)

Tyler Okonma appeared at the red carpet earlier in the night with a pink bellhop look complete with a classic red cap.

“I’ve always felt like I was sidelined. That I wasn’t respected in certain worlds,” Tyler said at the CBS red carpet about being at the Grammys.

Tyler’s first appearance at the Grammys was back in 2013 when he splashed onto the scene as a featured artist on Frank Ocean’s “Channel Orange.” In 2017, he was nominated for Best Rap Album for the first time with Flower Boy.

Tyler recently celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his debut mixtape Bastard. He has also blessed his fans with two new songs post-Igor, “Best Interest” and “Group B”.

“Christmas 2009 I released my first album Bastard on zshare to 46 people,” Tyler wrote in an Instagram post. “I had ideas, an unmeasurable amount of energy and wanted to piss off/get a reaction from anyone who had ears.” He added, “I was 18, although a lot of these songs were made when I was 16/17. I’d like to say Syd and Travis opening their home up to me and my ideas was my real big break. That quaint space we dubbed as the ‘the trap’ was drowned in magic.”

Other Grammy performers on the night include Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, and Demi Lovato.
