Proving that every work of art needs to be handled carefully, Tyla had some extra help when ascending the stairs to the 2024 Met Gala in her Balmain gown.

The South African singer's sandy dress was sculpted to her body — so sculpted, it didn't give her much mobility, which is tricky when you need to walk up a not insignificant amount of steps to enter the event. Luckily, some very helpful publicists were on hand to give her the lift she needed, slowly and steadily.

Tyla is far from the first star to need some help climbing up the famous Met steps— after all, the high-profile event often sees elaborate fashions that aren't exactly conducive to sitting or walking. (Back in 2022, Kim Kardashian had to have a few extra hands hoist her up in Marilyn Monroe's figure-hugging gown.)

Now, do we think Tyla is going to stand for the entire evening or switch into a more flexible look?
