They never had a pretty girl from Jo’burg! On Monday, South African star Tyla dropped the summer-ready video for “Jump,” featuring appearances from collaborators Gunna and Skillibeng.

The Nabil-directed video follows Tyla lounging, tanning, and posing for photos in her native South Africa. In one scene, Tyla stops traffic and has a twerk-off in front of a bus with images of her face plastered all over it.

“From Jozi to Ibiza/They say it doesn’t get sweeter,” sings Tyla in her sultry and sweet vocals. “Feel my body bangin’ like speaker/Ooh, sweatin’ out my concealer.”

The new video serves as a followup to the singer’s March album, which included songs such as “No.1” with Tems, “On My Body” with Becky G, and her breakthrough “Water.” Tyla spoke to Rolling Stone about dropping her debut and how confident she feels putting her heritage’s music on the map.

“When I listen to the album, I’m so proud of it,” she said at the time. “I just see our sound going so far: the culture, the words, the slang. Even just Joburg — the thought of people now singing about Joburg.”

“I really wanted to give a statement because I think that shows confidence, and I’m just ready,” she added. “I’ve been working on this for so long. And even though people think I just [arrived] a few weeks ago, I’ve literally been working for very long on this.”

A Rolling Stone review of Tyla’s debut album described the song as one of the “even better” collabs on the LP. “Tyla is suddenly spitting dancehall bars (‘from Jozi to Ibiza’) and echoing log drum hits with the single-syllable chorus, alongside airhorn blasts and cameos by Gunna and Skillenbeng,” read the review.
