After two decades, much-anticipated Publix opens at Shoppes at East San Marco
Publix Super Markets finally opened their new store to great fanfare at Shoppes at East San Marco on Thursday morning, Aug. 11.

The 39,209 square-foot store will offer departments for grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce as well as a full-service bakery, deli and pharmacy.
This Publix location is multi-level as well. A Publix Liquors and parking garage is located on the first level. The main store is on the second level.

There is also indoor and outdoor seating.
However, not everyone is happy about the grand opening. Some residents have voiced their concerns about traffic.
The city of Jacksonville is looking into what type of impact the store might have on congestion and what they might be able to do about it.
The Publix at Shoppes at East San Marco is located at 2039 Hendricks Ave., Suite 325, Jacksonville, Florida.
Regular store hours are seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
