Twitter volunteers to donate its organs for Justice Ginsburg after she was recently treated for new cancer

The U.S. Supreme Court revealed on Friday that Ruth Bader Ginsburg has just completed treatment for new cancer found on her pancreas. The 86-year-old justice underwent three weeks of radiation therapy at New York City's Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which comes months after she also underwent surgery to remove two cancerous growths from her left lung.

The historic judge has had a few bouts with cancer, including colon cancer in 1999 and early-stage pancreatic cancer in 2009.

After a biopsy found the tumor on her pancreas in July, Ginsburg began radiation therapy on Aug 5th. Reports reveal that while she will continue to undergo periodic blood tests and scans, "no further treatment is needed at this time."

"The tumor was treated definitively and there is no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body," read a statement from the Supreme Court.

Despite the justice maintaining "an active schedule," Twitter tributes and well wishes began pouring in for Ginsburg, who began trending on the social media platform soon after the news broke. Some fans even said they'd be willing to donate their organs if it meant she was ok.

"The honorable and notorious RBG is welcome to any and all organs I have!" wrote one RBG fan.

Joked another, "RBG karate-chopped the tumor in half while staring at the tumor's distraught family. She later did a thousand push ups on the tumor's grave and laughed a laugh of glorious victory."
