That was an unacceptable performance by Auburn in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The Tigers (2-1) were blown out 41-12 by the Penn State Nittany Lions in what was one of the worse home losses in quite some time at Jordan-Hare.
There were few positives in the game where Auburn struggled to finish drives and was unable to stop the Penn State ground game and there are once again questions about both the quarterback rotation and Bryan Harsin’s future at Auburn.
Twitter was full of Auburn fans expressing their disappointment about the loss and what should be done next. Here are the best Tweets after the disappointing game.
Nothing is being built
There is no proof of concept to fall back on
Even before February shenanigans recruiting was a failure. Both portal & prep
Defense has regressed. Offense too
In the world of portal it doesn't take years to rebuild a program. Move fast & restore hope

Y'all think Allen Greene looked at the schedule and said "nah y'all 'fire' me before the season starts" or what

I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I’m ready to say it: I think Auburn would have won this game had they worn the orange jerseys.

If Scott Frost needs a golfing buddy, Bryan Harsin might be available next week.

Still true: If you have two quarterbacks, you don't have a quarterback.

All I’ll say is gosh Auburn fans should appreciate Tank Bigsby for never transferring.

2012 all over again

Auburn just need to ride Robby Ashford out and let him develop.

Update… Auburn got annihilated and embarrassed by Penn State.
Their OL is struggling and they don't seem to have a QB. And to top that, their defense got gashed by that Penn State Ol and rushing attack.
Going to be a long year for the Tigers if things don't change fast.

It's been years since I walked away from an Auburn game. I did that today.
Schemes on both sides are terrible. Motioning backs out of backfield with awful OL to get QB killed.
Defense getting in bad leverage positions and out of position.
Awful scheme and technique football

Losing 41-12 at home is a tough pill to swallow for Auburn. That offense was bad today. Offensive line can’t block, receivers didn’t gain separation & QB play was subpar. Something needs to change.

Getting some weird 2012 vibes with this Auburn team early this season. They should be much better than this but they make bone-shattering mistakes at the worst possible times.

If Auburn is going to do this, they need to serve beer in JHS. This is cruel sober.

Auburn's 41-12 loss to Penn State is the Tigers' largest non-conference home loss since 1982.pic.twitter.com/1rviGJwXkG

Auburn is about to lose its fifth straight game against a Power Five opponent
Bryan Harsin would be 3-7 so far on the Plains in those games
