Twitter is loving 'Bachelor in Paradise' star who came out during the season premiere

A brand new season of Bachelor in Paradise has officially begun.

While the Season 6 premiere was full of drama, the one moment that fans are loving was when Demi Burnett came out to recent Bachelorette star Hannah Brown. Burnett and Brown met and became good friends during Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor and, on Monday, Burnett explained that she wanted to talk to Brown, before heading off to Paradise, to get a little clarity.

"I have kind of been seeing someone," Burnett told Brown. "Like, of course, plot twist, it happens to be a woman. It's not something that I need to label, so I feel like I don't have to, like, proclaim that I am gay, I'm straight, I'm bisexual, I'm this. I just like who I like. It doesn't matter who or what you are, like, it's the person."

"You're a fluid person. You're not just this one thing, and I think you are like that, and that is totally, absolutely great," Brown told Burnett.

Burnett also told Brown about the woman she is seeing, but admitted that they aren't “officially together" or exclusive. Burnett explained that she needs to go to Paradise in order to figure out what she wants.

"Experiencing all the different emotions that I have in getting to know myself better, and getting to know what I want more, it's been really confusing. It's this constant, like, indecisiveness in me, and I just feel like the only way for me to, you know, truly know, like, what I want and, like, how I want to love, and who I want to love, is if I try out Paradise. Maybe Paradise is what it's gonna take for me to figure it out," said Burnett.

ABC released a new trailer for Season 6 in July, and Burnett used the opportunity to come out publicly with her sexuality, when she tweeted:

Bachelor Nation is already stanning for Burnett and the confident vibes she brought to the season premiere.

Even Bachelor veteran Nick Viall tweeted:

During the season premiere, Burnett got frisky with Derek Peth but, according to multiple teasers for this season, Burnett will find love with a woman in Paradise, which will be the first same-sex relationship in the franchise's history.

Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
