Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito reunited at the 2024 Academy Awards on Sunday and shared a funny Batman bit onstage.

Thirty-six years after their 1988 film Twins, the former costars presented together at the 96th Academy Awards, receiving a standing ovation.

"Look at that, it’s so beautiful," DeVito, 79, said to the audience. "Look at everybody. Look at that, very nice. Well, Arnold and I are presenting together, for a very obvious reason."

"We both tried to kill Batman," chimed in Schwarzenegger, 76.

DeVito starred as the villain Penguin in 1992's Batman Returns with Michael Keaton as the hero, while Schwarzenegger was Mr. Freeze in 1997's Batman & Robin, which starred George Clooney as Batman.

"How did Batman beat you?" DeVito asked Schwarzenegger, who replied, "He used my one weakness against me...."

"Heat?" asked DeVito. "Love," said Schwarzenegger.

"Oh. He threw me out a window. Really," said DeVito, as Schwarzenegger jokingly added, "Batman, that son of a bitch."

"He’s here. There he is! He’s right here. Look," said DeVito, as the camera cut to a straight-faced Keaton, 72, in the audience. The actor was also a presenter Sunday, reuniting with Beetlejuice costar Catherine O'Hara on stage earlier in the ceremony.

"You have a lot of nerve to show your face here," Schwarzenegger said from the stage. DeVito added to Keaton, "You’re a real beak-breaker. I’m gonna see you after the Governors Ball, pal!"
