Twice concert at MetLife Stadium: What to know before you go

International K-pop sensation Twice will be performing at MetLife stadium Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Twice is the first K-pop girl group to sell out MetLife stadium. The highly anticipated MetLife performance is part of the North American leg of their fifth world tour “Ready to Be.” The performance is expected to last about three hours and will feature songs from their 12th extended play "Ready to Be" and some older hits.

Twice is a nine-member girl group formed in 2015 under JYP entertainment composed of rappers, singers and dancers. The nine members are Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.

Tickets for the show are available on Ticketmaster starting at $59.50 per ticket before fees.

Here's everything you need to know below about Twice at MetLife Stadium, compiled from information provided by MetLife, Live Nation and more reporting.

Twice official light stick and merchandise available at the stadium

Twice official merchandise, including clothing and the official light band, will be sold both outside and inside of the stadium. The official light stick, CANDYBONG ∞, will only be sold at merch stands inside the stadium. Fans are advised to arrive early as lines for merchandise will be long and some items will sell out.

The outdoor merch area will be located in parking Lot E between the MetLife and Verizon gates and will be open from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Merch stands inside the stadium will open at 5:30 p.m. for ticket holders.

The CANDYBONG ∞ is the third version of the official light stick and will automatically synchronize with the concert upon being powered on. Fans should press and hold the power button for two seconds once inside the stadium and the light stick will sync without an app or seat number. The CANDYBONG Z, an older version of the light stick that will not be sold at MetLife, and the official light band will also automatically sync with the concert. The CANDYBONG ∞ needs three AAA batteries to function which are not included with the light stick but will be sold separately at the stadium. Fans can also bring their own AAA batteries for use with the light stick. Fans are advised to use only new or unused alkaline batteries to avoid malfunctions.

MetLife Stadium is cash free. Only contactless payment methods will be accepted inside the stadium. Reverse ATMs are available inside the stadium.

MetLife Stadium bag policy

MetLife’s clear bag policy is in effect for the Twice concert. Clear bags of any style, including backpacks, are allowed. All clear bags must be 12-by-6-by-12 or smaller. Bags must be entirely clear plastic with no tint or color pattern. Non-clear purses and bags 4.5-by-6.5 or smaller are allowed. The official Twice tote bag will not be allowed inside the stadium and will not be sold on the day of the show.

Outside food and drinks are allowed inside the stadium. Food must be contained in a clear plastic bag. Factory-sealed, plastic bottles of water or soft drinks that are 20 ounces or less in size will be allowed as well as reusable water bottles (both plastic and aluminum). Reusable bottles must be empty upon entry.

MetLife Stadium parking/transportation

Parking lots open: 2:30 p.m.

Lot F and part of Lot E will be closed to concertgoers because of the State Fair Meadowlands. MetLife stadium has advised concertgoers who are driving to arrive by 4:30 p.m. to avoid heavy ingress traffic.

Day of event parking cost: $40 per car; $160 per Bus/RV.

Rideshare: Designated rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) pick-up/drop-off location is in Lot E. Rideshare surge pricing is often in effect after the event. Larger crowds will result in longer than usual wait times for a car to arrive (can be up to 1½ hour wait). Make sure your phone is charged and ready to go if you’re planning to use one of these services.

Non-rideshare pick-up/drop-off: Located on the roadway between Lots D & E, or in Lot I near the Giants Training Center. If dropping off, please return to pick-up starting at 9 p.m. to avoid exiting traffic.

NJ Transit Train: Trains will go from Secaucus Junction to MetLife Stadium on the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line between 5:05 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on the day of the show. Check njtransit.com/meadowlands for complete rail timetables. After the concert, the last train from MetLife Stadium to Secaucus will not depart Meadowlands Station any earlier than 1 a.m. Train timetables for the Twice concert can be found here. Concertgoers are advised to buy rail tickets in advance on the NJ Transit app to avoid long lines and delays.

Coach USA Bus: The 351 Meadowlands Express bus will operate from Gates 419 and 420 at NYC Port Authority direct to MetLife Stadium (parking lot K) starting at 3 p.m. with return service after the event ends. The last departing bus from NYC Port Authority to MetLife Stadium will leave at 7:30 p.m. The last bus will leave the stadium to return to NYC Port Authority 60 minutes after the concert ends. Round-trip bus tickets are $14 and are available for purchase in advance here.

MetLife Stadium tailgating policy

Tailgating policy: Tailgating is permitted but drones, model aircraft, kites and any other remote-controlled or tethered flying objects are not permitted. Tailgating should be limited to the lined parking space and the area directly behind or in front of each vehicle. Blocking drive lanes is prohibited. Tailgating is also permitted on the medians that separate the parking lots from the roadways. Visit here for details.

Twice concert tickets

Box Office/Ticketmaster Will-Call: Located at trailer outside MetLife Gate; opens at 2:30 p.m. Check your tickets and make sure you have the correct ticket date in hand. Barcodes for ticket scanning will appear on mobile tickets 8 hours prior to the event

Floor tickets: Guests with floor tickets (sections 1-16) can use any gate for entry but must proceed to HCLTech plaza for floor entry. Tickets will be scanned again to verify floor access. Guests are advised to allow extra time for the secondary scan and wristband process.

Mobile Ticketing: Your ticket must be displayed on your phone to enter the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available to print. Please have your mobile ticket downloaded before you enter the security line.

How To Display Mobile Tickets On Your Phone: Download the Ticketmaster App and find your mobile tickets in “My Events,” and add them to your phone’s wallet. Send tickets directly to everyone else in your party before entering the stadium. Display your mobile ticket at entry.

MetLife Stadium carry-in policy

Guests are welcome to carry-in the following items into MetLife Stadium:

  • Twice light stick (no case), keychains, small plush toys, cardboard poster tubes (no metal)

  • Banners and signs smaller than 11” x 17”

  • Small portable phone chargers (no larger than the phone itself)

  • Point & shoot cameras without a detachable lens (no case)

  • Instant cameras (Polaroid /Fujifilm, etc.)

  • Medically necessary items, subject to inspection upon entry

  • Small, hand-held USB-charged personal fans

  • Clear bags that are 12-by-6-by-12 inches or less in size (1 bag per person)

  • Small purses/handbags (clutch-type bags) that are 4.5-by-6.5 inches or less in size (1 per person)

  • Food of any kind that is contained in a clear plastic bag or wrapping

  • Factory-sealed, plastic bottles of water or soft drinks that are 20 ounces or less in size (caps will be removed by Safety Services team members)

  • Reusable water bottles (both plastic and aluminum). Bottles must be empty upon entry.

  • Still-photography cameras with a lens that is 6 inches or less in length not contained in a case

  • Hand-carried jackets, blankets or other items, which will be patted down or searched

  • Official national flags that can reasonably be hand-held by a single person and do not obstruct the view of other guests (no sticks or poles)

  • All bags and other permissible items will be subject to multiple screenings prior to entering MetLife Stadium.

The following items are not permitted to be carried into MetLife Stadium:

  • Professional camera equipment, including DSLR cameras, any camera with a detachable lens, video cameras, monopods, tripods, GoPros, Selfie Sticks, or any professional recording equipment etc.

  • Any type of non-clear bag exceeding 4.5-by-6.5 inches in size, including purses/handbags, camera or binocular cases, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, and briefcases/computer bags

  • Battery-operated clothing (socks, jackets, etc.)

  • Seat cushions of any size, except those for medical needs

  • Glass bottles, cans, coolers of any kind, thermoses or ice chests

  • Alcohol of any kind

  • Banners larger than 11” x 17”

  • Flags that are not the official flag of a country, ones that are displayed on a stick or a pole or cannot reasonably be hand-held by a single person

  • Umbrellas,, strollers, laser pointers and balls of any kind, including full-sized footballs

  • Drones

  • Single purpose video cameras or still-photography cameras with a lens longer than 6 inches

  • Weapons, including firearms, knives and any item that may be used as a projectile or one that is deemed dangerous by Stadium management

  • Any animal with the exception of a service animal

  • Adult-sized football helmets with facemasks

  • Any other item deemed inappropriate by Stadium management.

Search procedures

To ensure the highest level of safety and security, all guests will be subject to a courteous screening by Safety Services team members prior to entering the stadium. All vehicles are subject to inspection prior to entering the MetLife Sports Complex, and all bags will be inspected prior to entering the stadium.

Sensory inclusion

MetLife Stadium has partnered with Kulture City in an effort to provide a more inclusive and comfortable experience for our guests with sensory processing needs. The policy states: "Our team members are trained and certified to recognize opportunities to assist these guests in their enjoyment of our events. We also offer sensory bags containing noise-cancelling headphones brought to you by Bose, fidget toys and weighted lap pads, among other resources for checkout at any Guest Service Booth or Concierge Desk located through the Stadium. Reverse ATMs

MetLife Stadium is now a cash-free venue for all concession and retail locations. Cash is not accepted at concession stands or retail locations. For guests who bring cash to the stadium, reverse ATMs are available onsite to load cash onto a prepaid Visa debit card valid for in-stadium purchases. This service is free. The Visa debit card has no expiration date and can be used anywhere a Visa debit card is accepted. Reverse ATMs are located in MetLife West Hall and sections 117, 128, 149, 220a, 245a, 304, 322, 334 and 347.
