Twenty One Pilots announces 'Clancy' concert tour, drops new single
Twenty One Pilots has announced a global world tour in anticipation of its upcoming album.
The Grammy Award-winning pop duo, known for songs like "Ride" and "Heathens," will kick off The Clancy World Tour in Colorado in August. The global trek will hit major American cities, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand through 2025.
The band, comprised of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, will release its new album "Clancy" on May 17. On Wednesday, the duo dropped the single "Next Semester," which will appear on its upcoming record.
With over 33 billion streams worldwide, Twenty One Pilots has become one of the most prevalent alternative-pop groups of the times. The band's 2015 album, "Blurryface," spawned the No. 1 alternative singles "Stressed Out" and "Ride" and went on to sell 5 million copies.
