Nickelodeon is staying put in Bikini Bottom.

The cable network has renewed animated comedy SpongeBob SquarePants for Season 15. The 26-episode pickup comes ahead of the cartoon’s 25th anniversary, and brings the series’ total haul to 345 episodes (and counting).

According to the official synopsis, Season 15 will see “SpongeBob thinking he has developed an allergy to Krabby Patties, Plankton learning self-defense from Sandy, and Mr. Krabs stepping into the gym.”

Returning voice actors include Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton).

Ready for some more recent newsy nuggets? Well

* ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live when it resumes on Monday, Oct. 2 will host Arnold Schwarzenegger and musical guest Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit; CBS’ The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will welcome Neil deGrasse Tyson and musical guest Louis Cato; and NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will feature Matthew McConaughey and musical guest John Mayer. As previously reported, NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers will forego guests and kick things off with an hour-long edition of “A Closer Look.”

* Freeform has scrapped the one-hour comedy While You Were Breeding (fka What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding), Deadline reports. Filming on the 10-episode series — based on creator Kristin Newman’s memoir and starring Chelsea Frei (The Moodys) — had already wrapped prior to the WGA strike, and will be shopped to other outlets.
