Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder’s house-flipping renovation show has been felled by The Curse in the first full trailer for the unusual Showtime series.

Co-created by Fielder and Benny Safdie, The Curse is described as “a genre-bending series that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home-improvement show.” In addition to Stone, Fielder and Safdie, the cast includes Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips), Corbin Bernsen (L.A. LawPsych) and Constance Shulman (Orange Is the New Black).
