It appears Vanessa Fisk has been born again, as well.

More than a year after it was leaked that Disney+‘s Daredevil: Born Again revival-of-sorts had quietly recast Wilson Fisk’s wife Vanessa with Sandrine Holt, a photo from the set of the New York-based production reveals that franchise vet Ayelet Zurer has reclaimed the role.

The reversed recast is yet another ripple effect of the creative revamp the Marvel series went through midway through production, after Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige laid eyes on early footage.

Zurer played Vanessa throughout Season 1 of Netflix’s Daredevil series, and reprised the role for a couple of Season 3 episodes. The Israeli actress’ TV credits also include YOU, Legacies, Moonhaven and Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Daredevil: Born Again wrapped production earlier this month; its release timetable is currently TBD. Marvel does not comment on casting outside of official press releases.
