* Tyler Labine (Reaper) will co-star in the CBS comedy pilot Hannah Royce’s Questionable Choices as the first husband of Hannah (played by Alice Eve) and the father of her eldest child, our sister site Deadline reports.

* Wrenn Schmidt (Person of Interest) and Ella Rae Peck (Gossip Girl) have joined the cast of Hulu’s upcoming 9/11 drama The Looming Tower, starring Peter Sarsgaard and Jeff Daniels, per Deadline. Schmidt will play an ambitious CIA analyst who works under Sarsgaard’s character, while Peck portrays a special-education teacher.

* NBC Universal’s streaming comedy channel Seeso will premiere There’s… Johnny!, from writers/executive producers Paul Reiser and David Steven Simon (Mad About You), on Thursday, Aug. 24. The comedy series follows Andy (Teen Wolf‘s Ian Nelson), a wide-eyed 19-year-old Nebraskan who gets a job at The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, and Joy (Suburgatory‘s Jane Levy), a young talent coordinator at the show.
