Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon season 3, 8 pm, BBC One
Stacey and her army of declutterers arrive in Shropshire, where the Farrow family (originally from Essex, high fives all round) have a massive farmhouse absolutely packed to the rafters. They have, in Stacey’s words, ‘all the storage in the world’. But as anyone who struggles to throw things away will tell you, more space just means more opportunity to stash stuff. Dilly is on a break this week, so Stacey enlists Sophie Hinch to join her, Iwan and Rob as they empty the house and then lay out the Farrows’ worldly goods in a 10,000sq ft warehouse. And here is where it suddenly becomes obvious who’s the family hoarder. ★★★★ SM
The Royle Family: Down the Back of the Sofa, 9 pm, GOLD/NOW
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of Britain’s best-loved sitcoms, this feature-length documentary reflects on the genius of The Royle Family, created by the late Caroline Aherne and her co-star Craig Cash. It features interviews with the cast and celebrity fans, reflecting on why the show became such a hit, and reliving the classic moments we all remember so fondly. But the best part of this special is the chance to rewatch a 2010 interview with Caroline and Craig – the only one they ever did together – which gives a compelling insight into their comedy partnership and reveals how they created such a groundbreaking series.

Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs season 11, 8.30 pm, ITV1 (not Scotland)
As these final episodes in Paul’s much-loved series continue, tonight the focus is on common problems with rehoming dogs. Scruff, an 11-month-old Pointer, has already been returned to Battersea once as his new owners had found him too much to handle. ‘It’s like having a donkey on a lead!’ exclaims Paul as he tries to get to grips with the big puppy. Labrador cross Bea, who arrived as a stray, also proved too boisterous when she was rehomed, while the previous owners of Lukas, a six-year-old Pekingese, couldn’t afford his vet bills. Can Paul and the team find ‘furever’ homes for Scruff, Bea and Lukas?

The Hidden World of Hospitality, 8 pm, BBC Two
Anyone who has enjoyed The Bear on Disney+, with its peek into the mind-boggling amount of red tape involved in a restaurant business and theme of ‘every second counts’, will find Tom Kerridge’s hospitality series fascinating. Tonight he’s looking at the high risk involved in setting up a new venture, visiting Harvest, a West African and Caribbean fusion eatery in Windsor set up by Rachel Olatoke and Osa Erhahon, who have put their life savings into the restaurant. ‘You’re in control of your own destiny,’ says Tom. ‘That’s great, but also terrifying.’ He also looks at crowdfunding when he meets Louise Palmer-Masterston, the founder of vegan restaurant Stem & Glory, as a new branch opens in London.

Best box set on TV tonight
Ashley Walters and Kano return as Dushane and Sully, with the action in this final series of the British gangland drama picking up shortly after Sully shot Jamie at the end of the last season, so there’s a huge fallout. Everything they’ve built comes under threat from forces outside and within their empire. Top Irish actors Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson join the cast as new characters Jonny and Tadgh.

Captain Phillips, 10.40 pm, BBC One
An American cargo ship sets a dangerous course around the coast of Somalia, while inland, four men are pressed into service as pirates by the local warlords. The captain is taken hostage when the raiding party hijacks the vessel, resulting in a tense five-day crisis. Fact-based thriller, starring Tom Hanks and Barkhad Abdi.
