We love a dating show and the latest kid on the block starts tonight. Hosted by Davina McCall and showing every weeknight for the next two weeks,it follows eight single parents as they come together at a country house retreat in the hope of finding true love. Among them is widowed silver fox Roger, ‘very unlucky’ in love Sharon and fun-loving Clayton. And what makes this different to other dating shows? There’s a cool twist – the parents are unaware that the kids will be watching their relationship journeys unfold from ‘The Bunker’, a surveillance room where they’ll decide their mum or dad’s dating fate. It’s been touted as the ‘midlife Love Island’, and will reel you in.

Remarkable Places To Eat, 9 pm, More4

Tonight’s episode of the foodie travelogue heads to south Wales. Thomasina Miers, who spent many childhood holidays in the area, thinks it’s one of the UK’s best food spots and she’s going to show Fred Sirieix some of her favourite places to eat. They begin near Swansea at The Beach House in Oxwich Bay (three guesses where it’s located), run by Hywel Griffith. Then it’s off to Cardiff to Asador 44, Tom, Natalie and Owen Morgan’s restaurant which takes inspiration from Northern Spain’s grill houses. Their last stop is in the Monmouthshire countryside at The Black Bear Inn, which Thomasina says is one of her all-time favourite pubs. Will Fred agree?

The Inheritance, 9 pm, Channel 5

After the bombshell at the end of last week’s opening episode, which saw the coroner dramatically bursting into the funeral to announce that Dennis (Larry Lamb) died in suspicious circumstances, his three children are now desperate to uncover their dad’s original will. We can’t help but feel they might have more success if they shared their resources, especially Chloe (Jemima Rooper), who seems to be keeping no end of secrets from her siblings tonight, in a slowish episode with some very questionable scripting. We’d also advise Sian (Gaynor Faye) to steer clear of that estate agent, who seems almost as shady as her brother’s loan shark!

Ashley Walters and Kano return as Dushane and Sully, with the action in this final series of the British gangland drama picking up shortly after Sully shot Jamie at the end of the last season, so there’s a huge fallout. Everything they’ve built comes under threat from forces outside and within their empire. Top Irish actors Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson join the cast as new characters Jonny and Tadgh.
