TV Ratings: ‘Will & Grace’ Tops Thursday Scripted Shows
“Will & Grace” was steady in its fourth week, ranking as the top-rated and most-watched scripted show of Thursday night according to Nielsen overnight data.
Airing at 9 p.m. on NBC, “Will & Grace” averaged a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.5 million total viewers, down only slightly from its airing last week (1.8, 6.7 million).
Earlier on NBC, “Superstore” (1.1, 4.2 million) and “The Good Place” (1.1, 3.9 million) were even.
On CBS, the “Thursday Night Football” matchup between the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs averaged a 2.8 and 9.9 million viewers. In the metered market household ratings, the game drew a 9.9 rating/17 share, up 5 percent from last year’s comparable Week 7 game on CBS and NFL Network (9.4/16, Chicago vs. Green Bay).
On ABC, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” drew a 1.4 and 6 million. “Toy Story of Terror” drew a 1.1 and 4.8 million. “Scandal” (1.1, 4.7 million) was down slightly in the demo. “How to Get Away with Murder” (0.9, 3.6 million) was steady.
On Fox, a new episode of “Gotham” (0.6, 1.5 million) was even.
On The CW, “Supernatural” (0.6, 1.9 million) dipped in the demo. “Arrow” (0.6, 1.5 million) was even.
