“RuPauls’s Drag Race All Stars” will kick off its third season with an hour-long special on Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on VH1. The special will reveal this season’s contestants and Chaka Kahn will join RuPaul for an exclusive interview as he reveals the new cast.
Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are launching their benefit concert for Somos Una Voz/We Are One Voice on Oct. 14 to help the disaster relief efforts in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Florida, Texas, and the Caribbean. The GoFundMe page set up by Lopez, Anthony and Alex Rodriguez has now surpassed over $500K to help bring food, shelter, medicine, and power to the areas impacted by natural disasters.

Actor and comedian Kym Whitley will host the the finale screening and awards ceremony of the 12th Annual NBCUniversal Short Film Festival on October 18 at the Directors Guild of America. “I’m honored to be part of the NBCUniversal Short Film Festival,” said Whitley. “Platforms like this are so important to make sure we as a community find, encourage and support artists who tell stories about underrepresented people that are relatable to all of us regardless of ethnicity, creed, gender and sexual orientation.”
