TV News Pundits Argue Against Donald Trump’s Rigged-Election Claim In ‘Ocean’s Eleven’-Style Video
In case you are wondering the degree to which politics has gone Hollywood, Bloomberg Politics just put out an Ocean’s Eleven-esque video attempt to debunk GOP candidate/former reality-TV star Donald Trump’s claim the election is rigged against him. Released hours before the final televised slug-fest between Trump and Hillary Clinton, the video features a lot of TV news talking heads playing at being George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, etc.
Trump thee days has turned from making personal attacks on Hillary Clinton and her husband, to making speeches about how the election has been rigged against him as part of a Clinton-empire conspiracy. It’s proved to be Trump-supporter catnip. Nearly every GOP bigwig has pooh-poohed it, including Trump’s Veep hopeful Mike Pence, but Trump also has declared war on his party’s “elite.”
