TV and movie actor-comedian Shawn Wayans coming to Funny Bone on July 28-29

Actor, writer and comedian Shawn Wayans, who made his debut on the early '90s sketch comedy show, "In Living Color," will bring his envelope-pushing humor to Columbus Funny Bone, 145 Easton Town Center, for four shows on July 28-29.

Showtimes on July 28 will be 7:45 p.m. (arrive at 6:15 p.m.) and 10:15 p.m. (arrive at 9:45 p.m.); performances on July 29 will be at 7 p.m. (arrive at 5:30 p.m.) and 9:45 p.m. (arrive at 9:15 p.m.). Tickets, which are $37 for all shows, can be purchased at columbus.funnybone.com. All shows are 21 and older only.

Wayans, 52, is the ninth of the 10 Wayans siblings, who also include Keenen Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans, and Marlon Wayans. In addition to "In Living Color," he is known for the "Scary Movie" horror spoof franchise. The first film in the series, directed by brother Keenen, cost just $19 million to make and earned $157 million at the box office.

Wayans' other work includes "The Wayan Bros.," a largely autobiographical WB Network sitcom with brother Marlon that ran from 1995-1999, and other spoof comedies like "White Chicks," "Dance Flick," and "Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood."
