The 16th Annual Great Tuscaloosa Chili Cookoff: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Bryant Conference Center, UA campus. Kids' activities, live music, soda and beer, free ice cream, 30-plus varieties of chili to sample and vote on. Funds raised by $10 tickets (children 6 and under free) and sales of T-shirts and aprons go to benefit the Exchange Club's work in child abuse prevention, youth development, community services and honoring America projects.

Other Winter BAH showings include a collection of the Oscar-nominated shorts, Feb. 20; and the 2023 film "Anatomy of a Fall" ("Anatomie d'une chute") a crime thriller, rated R, nominated for five Oscars, including best picture, director, actress, original screenplay and editing.
