The company has moved shows to its old home in the Bama while a plumbing issue is addressed at its Bean-Brown Theatre in Shelton State Community College.

Musical "Sister Act," performed by Theatre Tuscaloosa, in the Bama: Directed by Stephen Tyler Davis, who has directed "Grease" and "Mamma Mia!" for Theatre Tuscaloosa in recent years. In "Sister Act," singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder by her gangster boyfriend, and goes via witness protection program into a Philadelphia convent. Her flamboyant personality causes friction among the community of more self-restrained nuns, but she finds her place helping transform the convent's struggling choir. The group's rising notoriety makes it much harder for the police to protect Deloris. Performances will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with 2 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday in the Bama Theatre. Art/music show: 3 p.m., Greensboro Opera House, 1217 Main St., Greensboro, Ala. Singer-songwriter Tim Higgins and textile artist Aaron Sanders Head will have a joint show. The title track video from Higgins' album "Blight" was filmed in the Opera House theater. He'll show the video and give a live musical performance. Head's textile artistry can be seen in Country Home and other publications and exhibitions. He'll have pieces on display and give a short presentation.
