Tupac Rages Against the Machine in New 'All Eyez on Me' Trailer (NSFW)

Today is the 20th anniversary of the death of Tupac Shakur, who was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on Sept. 13, 1996. And to commemorate that fateful night, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming biopic about Shakur, which seeks to memorialize the iconoclastic rapper’s brief, but indelible life and career.

In the new NSFW red-band trailer for All Eyez on Me, we get a glimpse of Tupac getting brutally manhandled by police, railing against then vice-president Dan Quayle during a concert, and being counseled by his mother (The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira). It’s a rapid-fire montage that hits just about every big moment in its subject’s life and suggests that the film will be infused with a righteous musical fury reminiscent of last year’s Straight Outta Compton.

Starring Demetrius Shipp Jr., All Eyez on Me still doesn’t have an official domestic release date, but you can check out its latest trailer above.
