'Tully' official trailer: Charlize Theron is a mother in crisis in Jason Reitman's comeback

Jason Reitman’s “Men, Women & Children” was a critical misfire four years ago, but the director’s latest film is already proving to be a more smashing success. “Tully,” which marks Reitman’s reunion with “Juno” and “Young Adult” screenwriter Diablo Cody, premiered to acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Charlize Theron stars as an exasperated mother of three, including a newborn baby, who ends up forming a special bond with her new night nurse, played by Mackenzie Davis. The nurse, named Tully, is more thoughtful and surprising than you might think. Jay Duplass co-stars in the film.

Theron last worked with Retiman on “Young Adult.” Focus Features will open “Tully” in select theaters April 20. Watch the official trailer below.
