May 3—STATE CENTER — Elie Tuhn ran a season-best time in the 1,500-meter run and it turned out to be the team's only win during the West Marshall Coed Invitational on Thursday.

The Bolts scored 49 points in eighth. They placed third twice.

West Marshall won the meet with 136 points, while South Hamilton scored 120 in second. The next five schools were separated by 16 points.

East Marshall (84), BCLUW (79) and Colfax-Mingo (76) completed the top five and Pleasantville (72), Lynnville-Sully (68), Baxter (49), South Tama County (28), Colo-NESCO (17) and Meskwaki Settlement School (3) rounded out the 11-team field.

Tuhn's season-best time in the 1,500 was 5 minutes, 17.95 seconds.

The two third-place finishes both were in relays. The 4x100 team of Lydia Pierce, Addison Kerwin, Maggie Schabilion and Mandee Selover was third in a season-best 52.58 seconds.
