On Tucker Carlson Tonight Thursday, Carlson called out one of President Trump’s attorney’s fighting to overturn the election, Sidney Powell. Since the election, Powell has repeatedly made baseless claims that voting machines were rigged in favor of Joe Biden. In fact, Powell has said Trump actually won by millions of votes. But despite claiming to have evidence proving as much, she’s never been able to provide any. Carlson said he’s made numerous attempts to get her on the show to provide evidence backing up her claims, but to no avail. According to Carlson, after they kept pressing her to appear, Powell got angry and told them not to contact her anymore. Carlson also said that his show has reached out to people in positions of authority within the Trump campaign who also said Powell has yet to provide them with any evidence proving her claims of rigged voting machines to be true.

TUCKER CARLSON: We took Sidney Powell seriously. We no intention of fighting with her. We've always respected her work. We simply wanted to see the details. How could you not want to see them?

- On "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Thursday, Carlson called out President Trump's attorney, Sidney Powell, who has repeatedly made claims that voting machines were rigged in favor of Joe Biden. During a bizarre press conference earlier in the day, Powell even went as far as to suggest long-dead Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez had something to do with rigging the machines.

Carlson said they have asked Powell on numerous occasions to appear on the show and provide evidence, but to no avail.

TUCKER CARLSON: We invited Sidney Powell on the show. We would've given her the whole hour. We would have given her the entire week, actually, and listened quietly the whole time at rapt attention. That's a big story.

But she never sent us any evidence, despite a lot of requests, polite requests. Not a page.

- In stark contrast with Powell's claims, officials at the Department of Homeland Security released a statement saying that the 2020 presidential election was the most secure in US history. And according to Carlson, Powell has yet to even give the Trump campaign evidence to the contrary.

TUCKER CARLSON: We checked with others around the Trump campaign, people in positions of authority. They told us Powell has never given them any evidence either, nor did she provide any today.

She never demonstrated that a single actual vote was moved illegitimately by software from one candidate to another.
