Tisdale’s character, Sam, is as single as she is self-involved. She speaks her mind and lives like the rules don’t apply to her. In all the ways Mitch strives to make the world a better place, Sam strives to make the world more her place. They have one common family trait: they’re both exhausting.

Tisdale is currently starring in TBS’ rookie sitcom Clipped (which wraps its first season tonight).

Truth Be Told — FKA People Are Talking — follows two diverse couples (Gosselaar and Vanessa Lachey, and Tone Bell and Bresha Webb) who are both neighbors and best friends. As they go through life side-by-side, they can’t help but analyze and obsess about everything. From topics like sex and race, to the fact that the trusted new babysitter might just be a porn star, nothing is out of bounds for this wildly outspoken foursome.

The series is set to premiere Friday, Oct. 16 at 8:30/7:30c.
