Trump: I won N.H. because it is a ‘drug-infested den’

According to transcripts published by the Washington Post, President Trump spoke to Mexican President Peña Nieto over the phone in January 2017 and said he won the state of New Hampshire because it is a “drug-infested den,” referring to the state’s opioid crisis. During the call, Trump also lashed out at Nieto for the amount of illegal drugs coming to the U.S. from Mexico.
