Trump supporters furious with HGTV for showing past administrations during ‘White House Christmas’ special

Sunday’s “White House Christmas 2020” special on HGTV showed all the hard work that went into making this holiday season merry and bright at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue. First Lady Melania Trump was very proud of her “America the Beautiful” themed Christmas designs, and this special took a deep dive into some of the more spectacular design elements, like her amazing gingerbread White House.

While this year’s Whte House decorations were the primary focus of the special, there was also mention of previous first ladies’ Christmas designs and themes. That did not sit well with several viewers who were expecting a Trump only Christmas. One viewer tweeted, “Very sad to see that ‘The Christmas 2020 show’ featured constant flashbacks of Trump Haters like George & Barbara Bush (RIP) & of course The MILLIONAIRE Socialists B & M Obama. WHY I ask did we need this obvious political [poop emoji]?”

Even though some viewers were quick to say ‘bah humbug’ to the special, it did a great job showcasing the first lady’s lovely holiday theme.

- While this year's White House decorations were the primary focus of the special, there was also mention of previous First Ladies' Christmas designs and themes, and that did not sit well with several viewers, who were expecting a Trump-only Christmas.

One viewer tweeted, very sad to see that the Christmas 2020 show featured constant flashbacks of Trump haters like George and Barbara Bush, RIP, and of course, the millionaire socialists B & M Obama. Why, I ask, did we need this obvious political poop? Even though some viewers were quick to say bah, humbug, to the special, it did a great job showcasing the First Lady's lovely holiday theme.

- The First Lady would like all Americans to reflect on their blessings this Christmas season and enjoy the gifts of love, joy, peace and faith.
