Trump Lashes Out at ‘Madman’ Kim Jong-un, Rand Paul, ‘Crooked Hillary’ in Twitter Storm

President Trump stepped up his attacks on Kim Jong-un on Friday, slamming the North Korean leader with nuclear ambitions as “obviously a madman who doesn’t mind starving or killing his people.”

In a series of morning tweets that also included attacks on Sen. Rand Paul and the mainstream media, the president vowed that Kim “will be tested like never before!”

The tweet comes just one day after North Korea issued a formal statement attributed to Kim calling Trump “the mentally deranged U.S. dotard” following Trump’s speech before the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday labeling Kim as “Rocket Man” and threatening to “totally destroy” North Korea.

“A frightened dog barks louder,” Kim’s statement said. “I will make the man holding the prerogative of the supreme command in the U.S. pay dearly for his speech calling for totally destroying the DPRK.”

Also on Friday, Trump called out Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) for his stated opposition to a bill coauthored by Senators Bill Cassidy and Lindsey Graham bill that seeks to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Trump hinted at “future political campaigns” that would tar his former presidential rival as “the Republican who saved ObamaCare.”

In another tweet, he repeated his attack on the ongoing investigation of Russia’s interference in the U.S. election last year, which he again called “the Russia hoax.”

He instead blamed “totally biased and dishonest Media coverage” and renewed his description of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Democrat he defeated in the general election, as “Crooked Hillary.”

Trump also took the opportunity to boast about his popularity on his favorite social media platform, retweeting a chart showing that he was the “most Tweeted about world leaders” during the first day of the UN General Assembly.
