Don’t get Donald Trump a Marshawn Lynch jersey this Christmas.
The President of the United States has attacked the Oakland Raiders running back for taking a seat during the “Star-Spangled Banner” at Sunday’s NFL game in Mexico City. Lynch stood for Mexico’s national anthem.
“Great disrespect!” Trump wrote this morning on Twitter. “Next time, NFL should suspend him for remainder of season.”
Never one to miss a moment to take an extra shot, Trump concluded his message with the following about the ongoing National Football League season: “Attendance and ratings way down.”
Here’s the post:
Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.
